Suburban Construction earned national recognition as a 2007 AMI Dealer of the Year for outstanding customer service and replacement window installations.

Suburban Construction Inc. has been named one of Associated Materials Inc.’s “2007 Dealers of the Year!” for the first time in Suburban’s 23-year history.
Associated Materials of Ohio provides the Davenport home-remodeling company with a high-end replacement window. The vendor recently honored the Davenport company with the award for its dedicated customer service and window volume, according to AMI’s congratulatory letter.
“Your dedication to customer service is by far the best that we have seen across the nation,” AMI wrote. “Few dealers throughout the country offer the type of customer service you provide; this sets you apart from most of the companies in our dealer network.”
Suburban’s performance exceeded AMI’s expectations in bay window and patio door orders and its overall window installation volume made it number one in Suburban’s market in 2007.
Suburban sells and installs windows, siding, and doors in its home remodeling business and offers a lifetime guarantee on its work. The company recently completed a new showroom of all of its products.
Company president JR Girskis bought the company from his father, Brian Girskis, in 2007. Brian Girskis founded the company in 1985. It is at 616 W. 35th St. in Davenport.
