Suburban Construction Sponsors 2022 Illowa Sporting Clays

Suburban Construction was proud to sponsor the 2022 Illowa Sporting Clays Event in support of the Boy Scouts and local Scouting programs throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

The annual Sporting Clays fundraiser brought together local businesses, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters for a day focused on fellowship, outdoor recreation, and raising support for youth leadership programs across the Quad Cities region.

As a longtime supporter of Scouting, Suburban Construction believes programs like the Boy Scouts help young people develop the leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills that shape future success both personally and professionally.

Darin Wilson of Suburban Construction shared how important Scouting has been to him and why supporting organizations like the Boy Scouts continues to matter.

“I love giving back to Scouting because of what it teaches young people,” Wilson said. “Scouting helps build confidence, leadership, teamwork, and character. Those are lessons that stay with kids for the rest of their lives.”

The Illowa Sporting Clays Event helps raise funding for local Scouting initiatives, outdoor education programs, leadership development, and opportunities that allow more youth throughout the region to participate in Scouting activities.
