Suburban Sponsors 2024 Illowa Sporting Clays

Suburban Construction was proud to sponsor the 2024 Illowa Sporting Clays Event, continuing its longtime support of local Scouting programs and youth leadership development throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

The annual Sporting Clays fundraiser brought together local businesses, community leaders, volunteers, and outdoor enthusiasts for a day focused on fellowship, education, and raising support for Scouting programs across the Quad Cities region.

Darin Wilson of Suburban Construction shared how meaningful it is to support Scouting programs and youth firearm safety education through events like the Illowa Sporting Clays fundraiser.

“I’ve always loved being an NRA Instructor because it gives me the opportunity to teach safety, responsibility, and respect,” Wilson said. “When young people learn proper firearm safety and discipline in the right environment, those lessons stay with them for life. It’s also great knowing the money raised helps support Scouting programs that continue building future leaders in our community.”

The event highlighted the importance of safe outdoor education and mentorship while helping provide funding for local Scouting initiatives, leadership development programs, camping opportunities, and youth activities throughout the region.
